Hikaru no Go (ヒカルの碁, Hikaru no Go
? lit. "Hikaru's Go") is a popular
Japanese manga and
anime coming of age story based on the
board game Go written by
Yumi Hotta and illustrated by
Takeshi Obata. The production of the series' Go games was supervised by Go professional
Yukari Umezawa (
5-dan). The manga is largely responsible for popularizing Go among the youth of
Japan since its debut, and in other areas such as
mainland China,
Hong Kong,
Taiwan, and
South Korea. More recently it has gained much popularity in the
United States. The title is sometimes abbreviated 'HnG'.
Effect on the popularity of Go
Hikaru no Go dramatically increased the popularity of Go in Japan and elsewhere, particularly among young children.o professional
Yukari Umezawa served as the technical advisor for the manga and promoted it on behalf of the
Nihon Ki-in.

One of the reasons that she helped make Go so popular was because she was called "best looking Go Professional". The manga also spread Go throughout The United States. As a result, many high school and middle school Go clubs were started by students influenced by the manga.

看完这部漫画，让我想起在看另一部漫画，black jack 读到的一句话：“人的一生中，有数不尽的机会与陌生人相遇，就在过马路的短短几秒钟里，很可能以恶几百个人擦肩而过，那几百埃个人有各自的人生，但瞬间的偶遇幻成为漫长人生中的一个片断，降各种没关系的人相联起来。”
而对于Hikaru Shindo 進藤 ヒカル来说，Sai 藤原佐為，就是改变他人生的人。虽然sai 这是一个灵魂，可是他让進藤由衷的喜欢上了围棋。而他们俩人之间也是培养了深厚的友情和师生情。
在漫画里，最让我感动的部分，就是当sai的灵魂消失时，進藤不顾一切的去寻找sai，而最后发现自己一直寻找的sai其实就在棋盘当中。就在進藤所下的每步棋里——sai一直都陪伴在他身边，他们的棋艺已经结合在一起了。
于是進藤，因为sai,再次的振作了起来。>_< (感动ing...)
我向来都是支持主角的人(除非主角实在很讨人厌），所以不用问我喜欢那位人物（当然是進藤了！）不过我也好喜欢sai!!(因该说是非常喜欢。）
sai也有很可爱的一面！！>_<
