''forget the former things, do not dwell on the past''

God tells us to forget about the former things and do not dwell on the past.
But sometimes we forgot the wrong things.
Instead of remember those who once helped us, gave us hope and courage when we needed, we remember those who hurted us, betrayed us, those painful memory of the past.
God wants us to forget the past.
He wants us to love our enemy, love people who hurted us before.
because the pain can only leads to anger, anger leads to hatred, and hatred leads to bitterness.
we have to forgive, forget, and LOVE the people who hurted us. that's the only way to obtain true happiness in our life.

and don't always feel unsatistified with yourself.
God wants to tell you: you are precious, you are wonderfully made by him; you are honored in his sight, because he loves you.
